I grew up eating my mom’s dairy-filled, heart-attack inducing mousse & defiantly would make sneaky trips to the fridge to secretly eat spoonful after decadent spoonful of the brown ambrosia. Try out this vegan version & impress your non-vegan friends & family!
1 Package Firm Tofu (always Organic or non-GMO)
1 Can Condensed Coconut Milk
1 Cup Coconut Milk
½ Cup Raw Organic Cacao Powder
1 Cup Raw Organic Agave
½ Cup Coconut Sugar
Place tofu & condensed coconut milk in blender & blend until smooth
Add cacao powder & agave & blend until smooth
Add coconut milk slowly until desired thickness is reached (you can always add more if you prefer a thinner mouse or less if you prefer a thicker one. It will set in the fridge as well which will improve stiffness.)
Add coconut sugar to taste
Place in fridge for at least 1 hour preferably overnight
Add whatever toppings your heart desires! I added goji berries to mine (pictured) but I bet granola, cereal, fresh fruit, sugared fruit, sprinkles, ETC. would be awesome too! Make sure the goji berries are Organic!
